Everybody knows Swedes are blonde, tall and beautiful, especially the girls. That is the main reason the Swedes are beginning to dominate the red carpet in Hollywood. Lately the gorgeous Alexander Skarsgård has shown up in lots of magazines because of his appearance in the critically acclaimed TV-series True Blood and Generation Kill. Another dashing Swedish actor, who is famous all around the world, is Malin Åkerman. She is a flawless example of the perfect, blonde Swede. She is acting The Heartbreak Kid, Watchmen and 27 Dresses.

Sweden may not have a large population, but it has gifted the world with bounty of astonishing directors and actors. The early mentioned is just a tip of the iceberg of Nordic filmmakers and actors who have enchanted and engaged people around the globe.
