My face is covered in freckles and I tend to bite my nails. I drink my coffee and tea black and walk fast. I am sixteen years old and I live in a small village called Klöverträsk. I spend most of my time at school. I try to understand the odd and difficult parts of biology and I happily read about the kings of Sweden. I dance through the hallways and use the elevator to avoid taking the stairs – one of my bad habits. I go to school by bus and I spend approximately one and a half hour in a bus every day. I enjoy it. I really enjoy stepping into a warm bus when the autumn breezes return to our village and I love exchanging some words with the bus driver or one of the passengers before I start reading my book or go back to sleep. After those hours with biology and history and all those other subjects I take my far too heavy backpack and leave school. I usually go to the library to borrow some books or just to chat with the librarians. There is something extraordinary with libraries. I do not know if you have ever thought of it but there is a very special scent in libraries. Every time I take someone with me to the library I tell them to inhale, not only the scent but also the atmosphere at the library. That scent of books, unbeatable. I spend a lot of my free time studying, I am afraid. Upper-secondary school demands a lot of studies and especially if you have the science focus, as we have. When I do not try to understand those extremely confusing subjects, such as physics and biology, I enjoy knitting and taking long walks. I obviously read quite a lot as well. I like dresses, letters, rain, documentaries on the radio, jazz, laughter, Jesus, mental maps, british accents, autumn, riding my bike, my flowery apron and dictionaries. I think Earth is far too beautiful to ruin.
