My name is Jesper and I've gone seventeen - almost eighteen - laps around the sun. And I too live in Luleå. It is a small town in the northern regions of Sweden.
I am a very creative person. I like to draw, write and play music. I mostly play guitar and drums, in all kinds of ways. I always try new ways to play and different styles to play in. And as sure as i play whatever comes into mind, I also draw whatever! If I get an idea that is good, I have to draw it, I just can't not do it. I have plenty of rather silly drawings of everything from cartoon animals to portraits to buildings to portraits of cartoon animals on top of buildings. It's the same with music. If I come up with a nice melody, I try to mold it into something which I write down and save on my computer. I have tons of stuff there! Oh golly is there music aplenty in the ol' can!
If I said I like all music I would be lying, but I am closer to it than anyone I know. Rather than naming all genres I would just like to name some of my favorite artists in some of the most extreme.
Jussi Björling - a renown Swedish opera-star.
Abba - If you don't know Abba, then shame on you!
Metallica - One of the biggest names in metal music.
Mumford & Sons - Incredible acoustic music. And when I say incredible, I mean incredible!
Flogging Molly, Dropkick Murphys - Irish inspired rock/metal.
Falco - Austrian 80's-pop at it's finest.
Dream Theater, Rush, Tool - Three of the most fantastic bands I know. They are all very innovative and exiting. Just blows me away every time!
And the list goes on..
Another artist worthy of mentioning is Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli. Con te partirò - genius!
And I greatly abhor the Twilligt series.

ReplyDeleteI love to draw too, I think I'm good in this (only in this). I really enjoyed to read your presentation, we have many things in common like the music. I love spliknot, an American metal band. :)ahahahahah I HATE TWILIGHT too!

ReplyDeleteI would really love to be able to draw, but my drawings look like.. actually nothing, just strange and colourful lines. I do like Abba, my favourite song is Dancing queen :)
